Sorry about that..
If you need a new code.
You may have purchased an early version of MailWasher Pro. Since then our key system has changed slightly. To get a valid key, go to the Register window and enter the email address you used to purchase MailWasher Pro into the "I've already registered but lost my key" area. Click on the "Please email me my key" button and you will be emailed a new key. |

No, I don't need a new code . I was just reporting an improper link. It refers to
-http://www.firetrust.com/support/pro/fa...pgrade_4.1
instead of
-http://www.firetrust.com/support/pro/faq.php?section=registering#upgrade_4.1

RD -
I received my registration key from Firetrust on Feb 25, 2004. Will I need a new key when I upgrade to 4.1?
If not, will 4.1 read in the key from 4.0?
I have a copy of the 2/25 email with key. If 4.1 did not copy the key, will it accept the 2/25 key if I copy it in?
Trying to decide whether to upgrade. Had problems with 4.0 that took days to correct - which I eventually did thanks to kind folks on this forum.
Want to avoid doing it again. |

The upgrade should go without problems, just make very very sure that mailwasher is not running before you start it!
The keys will be imported as will all your account and spam tools info. 4.1 has enough fixes that I'd sure go for it. |

My pc has developed a startup problem since I installed 4.1. Is it possible that it has a conflict with AVG virus protection (www.grisoft.com)? |

Switch mailwasher to not load at startup from tools - optioms and see if it makes a difference, it shouldn't but that is the easy place to try. |

I discovered this by accident, coming to make another post. I installe it hoping that I could get rid of the irritating error I always get when I start MailWasher (Someone says I need to change a DLL in my computer - putting a downloaded copy in the Mailwasher Pro folder doesn't work and I don't want to futz around with Windows Systems directories).
It didn't. I still get that error with MailWasher Pro and I blame that software.
And I hate trying to download this trying to guess whether I will still have this version paid for. The web pages don't indicate. |
