Is there a large necessity to include a boot password in the power on process of an XP or 2000 machine? Are there any ways of getting past the XP/2000 logon screen in a networked environment that requires user authentication? I'm thinking that the need for the boot password is minimized since access to the C: drive cannot be achieved until after the user has authenticated to the network. Am I missing anything?
Input? Anyone?
Thanks! |
