a web site i visited, remains on the history no matter how many times i clear history or delete all cookies. i need some suggestions let me know |

is the browser explorer?
try opening the run dialog and typing %temp%
when the window opens delete everything in there then delete history, see if that works |

no that didnt work
i am using internet explorer
lets say the website is www.sample.com
in the address field on the browser i type in "s" or "w" after i have cleared the history, the drop down opens and says http://www.sample.com.
any other suggestions? |

Oh I see your url history? I hope that correct
go to www.majorgeeks.com and download a program called crap cleaner you will love it. don't clena the system files as I have not yet tested that. |

nope that didn't work, the website is still there. so far the only thing that gets rid of it is turning off the auto complete function on IE. but i want to get rid of it without losing that function. |
