When I run Ad-Aware it always finds the following file. I remove it and the next time I run Ad-Aware it is back again. Can anyone tell me how to
get rid of this?
Thanks

Seymore,
Before doing this manual removal, make sure you follow the instructions carefully. I have also read of a program that removes the problem at the following
http://www.kephyr.com/spywarescanner/supportus.phtml
I have never tested this program so I have no idea how good it is. To continue with the manual removal...
Start your computer in safe mode.
Start the registry editor. This is done by clicking Start then Run. (The Run dialog will appear.) Type regedit and click OK. (The registry editor will open.)
click file then export, save the file as reg backup (just in case) then it is time to do the nasty.
Delete 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE \ Classes \ CLSID \ {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000240}', if it exists.
Delete 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer\Browser Helper Objects \ {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000240}', if it exists.
Exit the registry editor.
Delete the following directory and its content:
%ProgramsDir%\ClearSearch\
Note: %ProgramsDir% is a variable (?). By default, this is C:\Program Files.
Restart your computer in normal mode.
Start Microsoft Internet Explorer.
In Internet Explorer, click Tools -> Internet Options.
Click the Programs tab -> Reset Web Settings.
