IS ZONE ALARM GOING TO LET US HAVE THE OLD VERSION BACK UNTIL THE BUGS ARE STRAIGHTENED OUT ON THIS NEW VERSION?
I WOULD LIKE TO RE-INSTALL THE OLD VERSION.
I JUST GOT MY PC O/S RE-INSTALLED AND I'M READY FOR A NEW FIREWALL.
HOOV???
ARE YOU THERE??

it made a mess of something on my pc yesterday and i cant even explain what and how.
the version that i had i cant remember numbers, just that it was the one before we all started downloading the upgrade from yesterday or the day before.
and if you are going to try to send it to me , i still dont have my email configured yet.
im checking on my threads the old fashioned way.
by going to them and looking for answers.
that one you have may be the one . if you do have the right one ; don't lose it,ok?
there may be a lot of people that would like to have it.
you can pm me if you want , i have a browser window open here all the time until i get the postoffice account to work again.

thank you,LIZ.
i just got a p.m. fromarchimedes about it.
he has a copy and i tried to send him an answer only to get"general error invalid session"
so i'll try later.
he may be able to get the file to me.
he said he doesn't know how to upload to the site and neither do i.
i was going to get him to put it in a zip file and mail it to me.
then i could open it and install it.
what do you think,is that an option?
cause i already re-installed everything and i just got my email working again
it was very easy to get all the license numbers from people like trojan hunter and AVG.

Hey TMOV, sometimes you'll get the invalid session notice if you spend a lot of time on your PM (i.e. if it takes a long time to type)
OldGuy has installed Adaware direct from lavasoft, no problem. Ditto Quietfusion from download.com. I'll make some enquiries re the tar.gz files.

HI,liz,
I GOT THE ADAWARE INSTALLED OK.
I LOOKED AROUND AND IT WAS AT MAJORGEEKS, SO I DOWNLOADED FROM THERE YESTERDAY.
EVERYTHING IS OK EXCEPT FOR 5 "DSO" OBJECTS ON THE SPYWARE SCAN THAT WONT GO AWAY.

By the way and off the subject, has anyone else used Jet Audio?
I have been using it for about a month now and I love it. Plays everything. |
