Some time ago I configured OE to receive mail in plain text, I now am updated to OE6 and still receive mail in text but want to receive now in html as I first view mail in MailWasher Pro.
In options of OE6 there is the ability to send in text or html but not receive. (to change the receive function must have been in a earlier version of OE.)

Hi blinksniff

If you click the 'Read' tab in 'Options' and make sure the box 'Read all messages in plain text' is unchecked, you should be able to receive in html.

Hi Littlebet65, In read tab in options - I dont have a
read all messages in plain text box. From memory
before updating to OE6 I did have. Maybe I should go back to a earlier OE.

Yes this is strange,in help - about outlook express it says OE6, but in tools
options - security there is no read, there is a seperate read tab and it dosnt have anything about plain text. I possibly have OE6 with an older
options config. I will reinstall OE6 and see what happens. Will get back to you. Rolling Eyes

I decided against reinstalling OE6 for now, apart from not being able to receive in html every else is going well and I managed to config. to receive in mime which looks pretty good. Thanks Lilliebet for your help.
