Does this happen a lot down there, or is this an isolated case of some nutbar principal going off the deep end?
And what is a "military liason" in a high school?

Hmmmm...looks like a case of over-foxification of the news.

Uhm...notice the questioning aspect there, Jam?
It get's weirder...
Here's the Poem and a letter from Bill Nevins, the teacher.

Well if the Student doesn't admit it happened then, I would question the teacher's point of view. It is easy to jump on the Free Speech Issue, whereas it just could be a management issue, a financial cutback issue, or an incompetance issue. |

I thought it kind of weird in Spy's link where it states at the top that it happened at some other school, not Rio Rancho, but the the girl who wrote the poem, in her little spiel near the bottom, says Rio Rancho. There'sa lot of stuff on the web under various protagonists names but so far impossible to sort truth from fiction. Funny it happened last year but seems to be a fairly hot web item now.

Probably someone drug it up because of the election, its funny how these things which are non-stories become stories, like the "infamous binocular end covers on" pictures of both Clinton and Bush in Korea. It is the New York Times level of fact checking that lets these stories run. |
