| Every few minutes Spybot keeps telling me that I'm trying to download "Avenue A, Inc." and asks me if I want to block it because it's a known threat. Why does my computer keep trying to download this? |

Hi,
It's not your computer trying to download it. More the other way around. The site you are visiting is trying to dump an "Avenue A, Inc" cookie on your PC.
Very sensibly, you have opted for a setting in Spybot that alerts you to same. And, Spybot is just doing it's usual very fine job in blocking a 'Bad' cookie.
In 'Immunize' you may choose how such cookies are blocked. Silently, Dialog and ask. Appears you have chosen Ask.
Go get SpywareGuard and SpyWareBlaster ( both donation ware) too from our Download section....if you don't already have them. They work very well with Spybot. |
