Hey, I don't know a whole lot about computers...but I'm no dumb blond, I can mess around with network cmds and change settings, but what is with this 5000 port?

what's that about? how can I check that out, what program, or just what the hell to do...a reply would be very cool. and hopefully this will get my computer back up to speed
