|
|
Hi,
I am seeking help here, like so many others. Here is my story.......
I had 'strayed' in to some adult sites the other day and after closing them down my "SpywareGuard" program kept popping up telling me that my homepage was trying to change. I have programs running to stop this from being changed so didn't think much of it. But the same warning kept popping up. After running a number of anti-virus, trojan, worm programs etc it seemed to quel the problem.
BUT!!!!!!!
Now when I am browsing the internet and I click to get the source code of a site I have noticed a new strange line that appears in the source code just before the </head> tag. the code states "<script language='javascript' src='http://127.0.0.1:1028/js.cgi?pcaw&r=153'></script>"
Does anyone know what this means, where it came from, what its doing and how can I het rid of it? I am a little bit more than concerned.
Any help is very much appreciated.
Thanks

I feel kinda silly now but I have just found out that the code appears when Zone Alarm is running. Not too sure if this Zone Alarm thing is good or bad. It seems to stop me from logging in to certain web site control panels etc. A pain in the rear at the best of times.
Turn it on or turn it off...... That is the question...
I'm off to sit in the corner untill I can convince myself that there is something else wrong with my computer......... |
