Help in removing C:\spad\start.html of off my computer

My home page has been changed from Cox.Net, to C:\spad\start.html.
I have tried repeatedly to change it back to Cox.Net but all of my efforts have failed.
There is NO discontinue their service link posted no matter what search engine I use.
I visited one ( 1 ) xxx rated site & the next thing I knew it was my start page. I didn't want it @ all & I seem to NOT be able to get rid of the Dammed thing
Does anyone out there have any ideas on how to get My home page back ??

We need a snapshot of your running processes..........but First:

Download : HiJack This!

Create and Unzip to a folder not your Desktop or the Temp folder, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".
Unzip the download (using a piece of software like: Winzip)

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log in a text file, and post it in the CCSP "Spyware - Hijack Related" forum:

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.

I like this forum type of help that I can Post the troubles & get a reply on how to fix it.
I had to pay a freind $ 40.00 to come over & get rid of it for me.
He has already gotten rid of my new UNWANTED, Evil or Very Mad

start page C:\spad\start.html, & it's now back to Cox.Net. Very Happy
