well,
maybe they could attach it to an email and send it.
when p.m.'s get stale dated they have to be resent if the recipient has already seen the notification and then clicked to close it in the moment when something distracted them.
they will be a the bottom of the inbox and i'll bet paul has a deep inbox.

Wow HRoseBud! That was quick! You paid for Premium membership this morning and 4 hrs later your account is upgraded? That's service! |
Too bad it doesn't seem to work for everyone. I joined, looked through the site and forums - then paid for Premium membership.
Nothing. Only a confirmation from PayPay that Computer Cops had been paid. Waited, waited....no email, no nothing.
Next day wrote a short PM to "Paul".....Is there a problem with this? How long does it take - generally?
No answer.
Next day wrote a followup PM ...still no answer.
So now I am beginning to wonder just how forward thinking, honest and above board Computer Cops is. I mean, the least they could do is send a confirmation. Add a note that it can take some days. Tell you they really don't give a hoot.
Rant over. Any other newbies want in - think about it.

frankly i'm having trouble understanding this post.
the user joined on the 24th of the month and is ranting on the 25th??
i checked their posts and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong up to that point.
maybe they're having a bad day.
the remarks are a bit outlandish about the uprightness of ccsp.
if we are so bad, what keeps us going so strongly?
you can satisfy some of the people all of the time,
but not all of the people all of the time.

unless there's something wrong with the machine counting improperly we have gone over 70,000 already.
right now it shows 70,222!!
how long ago was it that we were all excited about reaching a membership level of 40,000?
thank GOD for the members here.

Yes TMOV, sadly both my work schedule and my social calender keep me from being here quite as often. This is both a blessing, and a curse

My most recent post on the subject.
Recalculating, still based on 40000 registered users at 5:28 PM, 17 Mar 2004, 76 days and about 8 hrs ago, and given that there are 70307 registered users as of 12:30 AM, 02 Jun 2004, that represents a daily compound growth rate of 0.742%. Assuming that growth rate will be maintained, 80000 registered users should be attained at 11:48 AM, 19 Jun 2004, 17 days and about 8 hrs from now while 100000 registered users should be signed up at 4:15 PM, 19 Jul 2004, 47 days and about 12 hrs from now.
I sure hope that wascally wabbit will find some coding time in the near future. I've been waiting for that "favourite forums list" for a while now. I have several thought in that regard but hesitate to make any suggestions knowing that he may not be paying much attention to them just yet.

i think that he is spending more time on the site now that the move is done.
he may read this item and surprise you with granting your request.
so, i wonder what kind of promotion he's thinking about now?
you know there has to be some thing that he will do to commemorate the new host and all that.
i hope we get the support that was shown when he announced the give away for the forty thousandth registration.
wouldn't it be nice to have the new host donate lifetime hosting packages too?
maybe we should all get together and send Mr.and Mrs.Rabbit on a real HONEYMOON?
