hi,
i just reformatted my hd and installed spybot and spywareblaster and every time a activex spyware gets blocked in ie my cpu usage for ie goes through the roof and i have to kill it in the task manager...i have tried 2 os's and gotten the same results (winxp & 2003 server)
Computer Config:
AMD Athlon XP 2600+
512MB DDR400 Dual Channel
Windows Server 2003 Standard
80GB WD HDD
Gigabyte GA-7N400-L Motherboard
any help would be appreciated |

from tmov:
if you can download hijackthis from this website and do it right by putting it in you "C" drive and running it and posting a new hijackthis log in a new thread , then do not answer your own post and wait for a security expert to answer; i'll bet you will get results.
i believe, based on your written complaint, that your p.c. is compromised by hijackers.
and i am not a first responder so don't think that i have the answers leave you request on the open forum, don't P.M. ANYONE.
