Keep Zone-Alarm Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation
granting the apps to update is all what needs to be done so...

your friend was probably frustrated not having acces to particular websites
or some activeX not working or whatever.

over the top on security is not possible, if you ask me, but u have to know the programs and what they do, and if they dont stop you from doing what you want to do on your PC, they are good for you

my coment not go for the below as I'm not familiar with them
IM Secure
I.E Spyad( sp?)

hi again
yeah , im keeping ZoneAlarm , i dont have any problems using it Smile

The IE-SPYAD is a programe that adds a list of sites and domains associated with porn and other bad sites to the restricted zone of IE, i have read about it on computercops so i think its safe

IMSecure is part of Zone Alarm it helps prevent attacks through instant messaging .

Thanks for clearing up about the security , i was given this computer , which the user wasnt very security minded , it was full of trojans , spyware , adware and malware and its taken me a while to sort it all out , im hardly getting any spyware , adware into it now . Very Happy
