Windows won't load. I cannot log onto XP, errors- Plz help!

This started a few days ago when my computer began running slow.
I am not sure what has happened, but I cannot log onto my computer AT ALL. There are two user profiles on my computer and neither one will accept the passwords to log on and get to the dekstop. I am at another computer begging for help since I cannot bypass mine.

I am receiving the following messages:
"Userinit.exe. Application error. X The application failed to initialize properly. (0xc000012d). Click on OK to terminate the application."

Then when I try Ctrl-Alt-Delete, I get the following message:
"Taskmgr.exe-Application error. X The application failed to initialize properly. (0xc000012d). Click on OK to terminate the application."

I have tried rebooting and reloading and it WILL NOT LET ME GET PASS THE WINDOWS LOG ON. This is so frustrating. I tried SAFE MODE, and the same thing.

A little further tweaking then I began getting a countdown box with the following message.
"Windows cannot load the users profile but has logged you on with the default profile for the system. DETAIL: Insuffiencient system resouces exist to complete the requested service."

Please can someone help me. I am not an expert, but I have searched for a possible solution in this forum with no luck.

I am trying to bypass the windows logon screen to at least get to my files to turn it off.

I am having the same problem with the log in on XP Pro.

So far I have found out that the problem is caused by file twgescli.exe using more high memory that exsist. there is a fix for this problem - have yet to find it, but once I do I don't know how to use it since you have to be in windows to run it. The other method is to edit the registry (back it up first), but again I can not seem to get to the registry unless I am in windows.

Any additional suggestions (reloading windows is not a solution) are welcomed.

I've also got a computer with the same problem. I think it may have something to do with spy/adware as I'm finding a lot of it using the command console. I cannot get into windows at all, no safe mode, no nothing Sad

At this point I am extremely close to formatting and reinstalling everything Crying or Very sad

I was just going to see if there were any other solutions before I jump in. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I also tried a Repair install and that did nothing as well.

Update: I slaved the drive into another machine, and scanned the drive with Norton 2004 and found 2 virus files, then scanned with Adaware and found dozens of adware problems. I removed them all and now I can boot to desktop ok.
