|
|
I have been running ZA on my computer forever and never had any issues with it. Last week I had some issues with spyware and trojans etc and posted my hijack in another forum here and got it all worked out and the computer is great. Last two days with nothing open I get an error about having low resources and zone alarm may not be able to run. Shortly after ZA shuts down and I can't launch anything without rebooting. Any ideas? Thanks bunches!

Did you by any chance do the upgrade to version 5 around the time you started having problems?

I did upgrade to 5.0 and I would say that was about a week before I started having problems that seemed to correct themselves by removing items from the hijack log and spyware.

You might want to give a thought to rolling back to the previous version. If you do take a look at this post at ZoneLabs.

Also if that does fix the problem make sure you report the problem to ZoneLabs so they can look into it.

This would be the place to start, as this version already has known problems.

I have followed your suggestions and cleaned out all the folders etc and had a clean install so we wait and see. Will let you know in a few days. Thanks!
