|
|
I cannot get a filter to mark bogus e-mail from my address for deletion unless ALL e-mail from my address is marked. All of the qualifiers I put in do not work. If my address is in my friends list, then ALL e-mail (bogus and real) from that address are marked "friend". If I remove my own address from my friends list, then ALL e-mails (bogus and real) get filtered and marked for delete.
I have tried this with every possible qualifier in the filter. |

There are several other threads on this topic, give the other threads a look and you should find the answer. |

Or you could try posting your filter (disguise your email address of course) and you could get some useful advice in return.

Well, tell him the answer!
Your filters won't override a wild card on the friends' list. For instance, it will override "[email protected]" but not "*@buyhere.com" |

Oh? Never knew that! If that's the case, I'd call it a bug. I can't recall this having been raised before.
