|
|
Hi,
I need some help with Mail Washer v2. Whenever I process the mail it always opens up Eudora v4.2 with a new outgoing message addressed TO: %1
I always close this message and do not send it but I am worried about what this message is and who is it going out to?
Is this the normal way that Mail Washer operates or does mine have a bug?
Thank you,
PF

Why don't you try the free version now offered at firetrust.com, it has a lot of the old V2 bugs fixed. |

Thank you Stan for your advice.
However I did not see a free version just a 30 day trial. I had paid a small fee for the original Mail Washer but do not wish to pay $37 for all the bells and whistles. Did I miss seeing a link to the free version. If so could you please post a link to it.
Thank you for your advice,
PF

The free trial drops back to a limited feature free version if you don't pay after 30 days. There is a post around by rusticdog about this and another about previous doanation users wanting to upgrade. |

By "small fee" do you mean "donation"? Depending how long ago you "donated to the cause", you could get the donation deducted from the registration fee or have it completely paid for!

Thank you for your help
I will install the trial version and see if that solves the problems. I had assumed it turned completely off after 30 days like most trials.
With the way spam has been multiplying I may even pay for it after awhile.

Apparently the 30 day trial version has those PITA reminder popups though. I'd be tempted to stick with the older version 2 version.
Then again getting rid of the SPAM more effortlessly is worth every penny I paid for MWP.

Just my .02¢
I think the option in the paid version to auto delete filtered spam is worth the difference

If you think that is handy give the learning filters a shot at your spam... and they are the first try at this for MW, the next version should be even better! |
