| can someone please tell me a program to get rid of all of avg im going to reinstall mcafee but having problems i think its because i intalled avg? please help me!!!!! |

hehe..most of the posts here are like"help me get rid of a virus" but this one's like "help me get rid of an ANTI virus"...
anyway...just go to add/remove programs and then select Avg...last time i tried removing AVG some part of it stayed in my registry and it still says "Scan with AVG" when i right click a file...i hope it doesn't happen that way with u.

Personally i wouldn't EVERRRRRRRRRRRR use mcafee... i rather have no anti-virus then that, but i guess its a matter of opinion... I personally swear by Kaspersky and ... somewhat.. Bit Defender.
anyhow ... .you shouldn't have mcafee and avg in the background at the same time... that is probably the cause of the problems... i would remove both and install AVG all by itself and see if that works... for protection-wise, AVG is the better choose.... also you might want to try "JV16's Power Tools' to remove left over registry entries after the uninstall/

McAfee is terrible bit it's your pc. AVG is all I use and recommend to my clients. Have you uninstalled AVG? If it didn't uninstall propelry then try reinstalling then uninstalling it.
