I fix peoples computer problems as my job, well I went to these peoples house... they had Ad-Aware Professional latest build on there. Norton AntiVirus 2004 and I then installed Norton Internet Security 2004, well after it rebooted ad-watch in automatic blocking mode blocked alot of entries in the windows registry and made the computer completely unusable(system restore is off). Unusable as in there are NO associations to .exe's or anything. Has anyone EVER heard of this happening?? I have to reinstall the os for them now. |
