There are several 3rd-party proxy programs that can be used.
Two are: YahooPops (http://yahoopops.sourceforge.net/) and Web2Pop (http://www.jmasoftware.com/).
The former used to be free - perhaps it still is.
The latter isn't free, but it has the distinct advantage of working with many webmail services - not just Yahoo. |

I get this when configuring iNcredimail via MailWasher
-ERR Connections are allowed only from the local host (127.0.0.1 is not a local address)
