Hi I have Norton Internet security 2004
Ok yesterday I Got a virus and some installs from a site with pop-ups. I had turned off my nortons for a site that I had to have it off to do...
It created a HAVOC on my pc... This is the new PC too...
Well I was getting script errors on everything from yahoo to web pages....
so I upgraded to Windows XP...
Now I can not get nortons to work...
...
I have nortons installed and have gone to symantec.com and followed the instuctions for what it tells me my problem is...
Still nothing
Nortons has not finished loading
the connection wizard starts I click on NEXT and I get this script error
Line :262
Character :3
Error: unspecified error
code: 0
URL: res://C:\Program%20Files\Norton%20Inter...oadmap.htm
And the connection wizard goes blank
Symantec said to downloas windows script 5.6 which I have done many many times to no avail
i have uninstalled nortons reinstalled to no avail... I tried to contact symantec but it will cost me 40.00 for them to fix it...
which i dont have to spend.
If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it
