|
|
Question: For win2k & xp, is there anyway to bulk download critical patches from windows update and then installing them that way, instead of running windows update on every system?
Just looking for a quicker way to update 20 new systems!
Thank in advance. |

hi behemoth,
you can go to :
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/default.mspx
select the operating system, and you can download the updates from there, put them on a cd, and then install them on all your pcs.

Thanks Norbie! I was beginning too wonder if this was even possible, hense the lack of replies to my question for 9 days... then I noticed how busy this site is and now I know how lucky I am that you responded!
I was surprised I couldn't find this on the Microsoft site myself, probably trying to be too specific in my search, and of course my spelling really sucks too -hehe.
Thanks again! |
