|
|
Is there any way to access (ideally via javascript) the available blocklist files and their names (like, bypass.txt and 'bypass' ) so I can put them in a list/dropdown list and work with them? I can see them via local.ptron, but I need to know of a method of accessing both filename and short name as separate parts. I was going to use FSO but that won't give me the actual name of the blocklist, just the filename. Are there perhaps some methods within local.ptron that gives me this, or some other way via proxo that I can pull them via script?
thanks in advance.

Hi ryshyn,
I suppose if your going to use the MS's FileSystem Object, you could use it to process proxo's config file.
You could also go to http://local.ptron/.pinfo/lists/ and get the info there.

Well I can get to ptron...files fine from proxo, but don't see how to manipulate it- I can't get javascript to even recognize that as a location. I will just read the config file; I was planning to do that as a backup; just wanted to know if there was some 'magic words' that gave you script access directly to the proxo guts, which I'm reading from your post there isn't.
Thanks for the quick reply, mike- at least I know my limits, now.
thanks again
