start page guard

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place, if not please point me in the right direction. I have Start Page Guard. My problem is that it doesn't seem to be working as well as I thought it would. Should I just delete it, or are there adjustments to be made?

Resident Tea Timer.all in one program.

I actually have ad-aware, but I also have HJT, and it's been fixing most of the probs with my start page anyway. So, I'll probably just get rid of, it just seems that it isn't really doing anything but taking up space.

I just mean that it really isn't doing anything. Everytime my homepage gets hijacked, so does the start page guard. I've been getting help from the HijackThis forum and I've pretty much gotten rid of look-today, which hijacked my homepage a couple of days ago. So I think that if I just have the HijackThis, it's probably doing what the start page guard is supposed to do anyway.

Thanks, I already have HijackThis. The experts there have already helped me fix the probs, so I just deleted Start Page Guard.
