Now that I have this critter actually running after being very erratic during installation it seems to be functioning fairly well.
Basically installation first encountered my locked host file and then problems continued from there. I had to basically end up deleting all of my email accounts in Outlook, then uninstall and reinstall B9 after replacing those accounts.
The host file had to be manually cleaned of B9 and even then it somehow ended up with entries that did not exist in Outlook.
Now that I got passed this first stage of problems I find the interface to be severely lacking.
Window sizing is not remembered, for example the default display is too small in summary html or webbugs.
The security profile screen is well, lacking in appearance and I find difficult to use when it comes to the message functions.
One question I find is why not integrate the whole thing into MWP as an option, this could be the proxy addition direction for MWP.
Interesting item, take a look at how it displays an internally generated Outlook Test Message in the summary message log, may be a usefull item in the right or wrong hands. |
