When people goo register on my site, it doesnt send them a email to click the link, and it also doesnt say that a new user has registered, could anyone help me please

Is it a fresh install of Nuke or an upgrade?
Do you have any other hacks/mods installed associated with Your_account, the forums, or PM's?
Does your host support sendmail and/or stmp?

have the same problem,
Tried to install a mail server but no luck.
I can send email with direct telnet to smtp port, but not using php's mail function.
What's wrong?
