Good job I did not start this topic off cos if I'd have got that 1st reply the torrent of abuse would have been such that you would have banned me.(know where Im coming from Pheonix) (Jammins doing the same thing).
The guy just wanted to sit and admire all the hard workers and ended up getting shot by the last sentence.
When the list is published we will know who not to cross swords with, as we do appreciate the free time given by the staff.

Cobblers, don't take us all too seriously. Tis only a bit of the blarney (We can all trace our ancestry back to the Emerald Isle no matter where we are now).

Anyone whose uname is COBBLERS2U has to confess to a slightly cynical view on life I think you'll agree icon_wink.gif

The Tavern is open 24/7 and you're very welcome, in fact I believe it's your round. I'm always keen to recruit the British contingent because we're so outnumbered around these parts.

And while we're at it ....... given the extreme weather .... I've got this pair of boots ........ icon_lol.gif

Hey COBBLERS2U, As it was I who made the first post, I should let you know that Jamming and I kissed and made up. (the kiss was ok except Jamming used his tongue)

So as you can see we are a bunch of happy campers here. We get a bit snarky before dinner but theres plenty of laughs in amongst the security issues that these guys sort out for so many people.

They stuck the tavern down low so its not so far to fall when you leave

cheers...........

The name's taken from the title of an advice column I write for a weekly Footwear trade magazine.
Didnt seem like friendly banter to me, but I'm not aware that these 2 are great busom buddies. Perhaps I'll learn who's friend and who's foe as I get more used to the site. If I havn't been banned by then!
In the meantime its back to the tavern to order drinks if theyre still open.
I know you are not a fan of guiness so will a larger sufice icon_beer.gif

I "COBBLERS2U" hereby and therein after, do solemly swear on the good book Lagavulin, to let all the sarky comments go over my head and not to take offence at anything published for I know not what they doeth or meaneth (some form of Satanic ritual I do believe where people flog one another for pleasure).(is it a variation of verbal bondage)

Brave move there COBBLERS2U, making an oath like that. If the boot had been on the other foot (get it Boot.. cobblers) I think that I would have reacted the same

As for a drink, I will join you for sure, just as soon as I get my sole baptised afterall, thats the sole reason... oh never mind, enough of the foot jokes.

They say a closed mouth gathers no feet.

Golly I nearly tripped up and put my foot in it. I guess I should Toe the line or someones back might get ARCHED, coming thick and fast now, better go....

I lke it! Like the quote about the closed mouth. I'll use that in my weekly sermon to my followers. As for the babtism of your sole, I can arrange that for you as I am authorised by the Church of Universal Ministries At Milford Illinois to carry out religious cermonies (well isn't everyone).
Got the certificate on my wall above my computer with my whiskies, only cost 5 dollars (the certificate, not the whiskies). It goes a long way when you are complaining about shoddy goods if you put your name down as The Reverend. No one messes with them guys.

Imagine you are a wabbid wabbit CMT (cawott meal tech), and imagine you have a list of things to get done. Imagine that the list is as long as the distance between Vancouver......BC....Canada...... and Bordentown....NJ (USA).........Are you getting this icon_question.gif
