I may yet be tempted, have my head turned by that glittering gong. Now, that's bound to have ruined somebodies day having read that heh heh. icon_twisted.gif Can picture Admin cradling their collective heads in their hands, rocking to and fro asking "why us, what have we done to deserve this"?

Hey there Acheton,

Mariners just playing "hard to get". He tried it once as a school boy when a couple of girls mentioned that he was quite nice and has been using it ever since

I see he is swaying, though....

I am genuinely interested in what lies behind the door in premium chat, is it just like the other forums?

Ever find your OS disks?

It's very like that day when you finally peep inside the teachers' common room in school and find out that it isn't really mystical after all. So until all the regular Taverners are signed up, I'll stay in the playground wiv me mates.

Never found the disks, bit the bullet and upgraded instead. Only as far as ME though, my poor little machine can't manage more than that. Did the trick with the USBs though. The neighbour's have been complaining about the flashes from my bedroom window since Christmas (digital camera that is!! icon_wink.gif )

Hey Blast, i'm pure and chaste! (but not a lot). In fact, not at all these days. Been rolling about a bit today.......been blowing a gale hereabouts.

lilliebet, see you didn't pay any heed to phoenix22's advice about getting 98SE. Shame you weren't able to find your original OS disks though. Least you got your USB sorted. You got LSB, DSB, FM 'n all? icon_wink.gif

Did take the advice just chose the wrong OS I think. Don't know what it is about ME but I don't like it. I use NT in work which, to me at least, is just the same as 98 but ME has a few little quirks that I'm not too comfortable with. Especially as I'm a computer dunce. I'm a big fan of Works as well, never did get my head around Access and Excel's quirky too ... I'm just living in the past. One day my knight in shining armour will come along with a gleaming copy of XP and sweep me off my feet but until then, you all will just have to keep nursing me along.

Did feel a bit of a git for what I put poor Jamming through, sure he's got broad shoulders though, there must me people more stupid than me out there ....... aren't there?
