Hello... i was wondering if anyone could help me... i have a small problem with norton antivirus... ever since i got the nkvd hijack and started cleaning it out with hijack this spybot and so on my norton hasnt been the same... when i double click the NAV icon in the toolbar i get a blank white screen where norton should be. heres a screen shot




for some reason that only shows up... ive tried reinstalling... and ive tried reinstalling by also taking out all the norton keys in the registry still with no luck. any help would be appreciated... thanks

Hello ChuckDizzle,

Norton has pretty detailed procedures for uninstalling their antivirus programs. You might want to double-check their site to see that you've followed their recommendations:

Did you ever figure out what the problem was? I also have this same problem. I have uninstalled and cleaned the registry as well as deleted all of the Norton folders. After another install it still does it.

The reply k027 gave is no help and, in fact, the procedure for uninstalling Norton is not detailed at all. You do it the same way you would uninstall any program.
