I hope someone can help with this. No problems with Benign except when I try to put an animated gif within the body of an e-mail to be sent to someone. I get an exception has occurred' message and am told the program (Eudora) has to shut down. It only occurs if I have chosed 'all files' to see gif's within 'My Pictures' so I can choose one. It seems to work the first time- but sometimes turns the gif into a jpeg; after that, just touching the 'add a picture' icon within Eudora shuts it down.

I assume it's a setting in Benign keeping me from sending the animated gifs- except for the first try- (or turning them into jpeg's) before the second attempt crashes Eudora. (since always was able to do this before in the past) Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I'm running Windows 2000 Pro/SP4. Thanks again for any help- ghostdog4

Hi
Benign does not process any outgoing mail. Benign only scans incoming mail.

Thanks- so you're saying that Eudora is probably the culprit- if I understand you correctly. Sorry to take so long with a reply; suffering with a bad case of the flu- waking up briefly and trying to think clearly enough to read e-mail, my apologies. I'll head on over to Eudora 'support' and see what I can find. Thanks again- ghostdog4
p.s. if anyone has any ideas- be happy to hear them. Thanks.
