Alot people have gotten the new aim away message .src virus. Its not really a virus though and thats why none of the spyware or antiviruses will pick it up. Most symptoms of this virus include away message pop ups every 10-5 mins, inablility to access task manager and system registry, along with slowly down your computer.

I recently fixed a persons computer that had this program on it. First thing you need to do is dl some sort of spyware or add-ware, because in them they have a tool that allows you to view all running programs along with end them as well. Once u get that program you want to end the program winampa.exe which seems to be the name of most of the programs installed on many computers. After ending this process go to C:\windows\system32\winampa.exe and delete it. That should fix any error or problem created by the program.

If the winampa.exe program is not found in the system32 folder you want to install this program http://computercops.us/downloads-file-328.html. Run the scan and look for the file named winampa.exe . Find the info on it discover where it is located, repeat orginal steps from there. This should work if u have the aim away message virus/program.
