[NEH]remote compuer attempting access?

Here is a problem that drove me to this site, which I find pretty fortunate to have come across. I have Norton Security 2002 w/ Windows XP. Here's how my story goes. For the first time ever, in my 4 years of being online, while downloading an update for Office from MS, Norton stepped in, stopped the download and said it stopped a trojan called ShockRav. Well that was a close call. Days later while playing a game, Norton comes up and says I have had 13 hack attempts since I last booted up. 13!!!!!! So immediately after that, I had at a minimum of 10 attempts for a remote computer attemping to load or access or something with ShockRav. Norton supposedly blocked this. I added this address to my Norton communication blacklist. (I hope you haven't fallen asleep yet). Now the fun part. I am bombarded with constant Norton Alerts "A remote system is attempting access to your computer" HIGH RISK. This happens no matter what part of the day or whatever. Its always multiple addresses. Of course I block the communication. What is this stuff? Why am I being bombarded? Has something bad happened? I have all of Nortons latest downloads. My Norton scans are clear. I also have BO Clean Trojan 411 running and Spybot which hasn't had any complaints. All I can do is enter each offending address into the black list. This seems absurd. Please help.
