I have this program. I got rid of it because it basically blocks out like half the internet involving any type of media. Also I would notice after big downloads, my pc would hang, and I'd have to reboot. When I got rid of it, my pc worked fine and didnt hang.

But I'm sick and tired of these self installed programs, start pages being changed, trojans in cookies etc. So should I just install this program back? What I want to know though is if can you customize it to not block popups from pages that you frequently visit?

Hello yankeesfan,

See this from the McAfee web site support FAQs:

"I want to allow a popup window, but I do not want to disable McAfee Privacy Service 6

Some websites that require a popup window will display an 'object required' error message. This message can be avoided by disabling the popup blocker feature in Privacy Service. It can be temporarily disabled by holding down the CTRL key. This will override the popup blocker while opening new windows, participating in online chat rooms and any other Internet service that requires a popup window. "
