When l purchased B9, all updates and upgrades were free. Now, however, i've noticed on the Firetrust site this:
Quote: |
You get technical support, free upgrades and enhancements for one year. |
This mean all tech help/updates etc, will now be charged for when the first year of use has ended?
Set my mind at ease, good people. Please....pretty please.

I'm surprised that that is there. RusticDog has informed us that, except for the yearly optional FA! subscription, a MWP license is a lifetime thing. Perhaps B9 is different?

This page: http://www.firetrust.com/products/benig...1d421350f6
This part:
Most sites will tell you that they offer fast and real support but unfortunately their promises fall short of this goal.
How do we offer the best customer support?
Because we have full-time staff whose jobs are purely to help you get the best from Benign®.
Under normal circumstances, we answer all email from registered users within 24 hours, every single day of the week and weekends.
**You get technical support, free upgrades and enhancements for one year.**
Need clarification on whether or not B9 'phones home'. I've explained it as a filter that sits between mail client and server. It's a privacy issue for someone who wishes to be absolutely clear about this and cost etc.
As far as l am aware, B9 does not 'phone home' and l have stated this. Need to be certain. |

OK, I'll get the site looked at, as far as I know there was never any intention to charge a continual fee

Thank you very much for your help, it is appreciated. I am glad that's cleared up. I now know what the position is and can now pass on that which i've learned here. |
