i cant get rid of a damn toolbar that calls itself "BytePingPhone". And I dont know why svchost.exe is at 99% CPU usage...something is affecting it. here is my hijackthis log. i already ran ad-aware, webroot spysweeper, spybot search and destroy, the cleaner, and AVG AV. thanks for any help anyone can give. if you prefer to email me, you can do so at: verahta at hotmail dot com. i really appreciate any help anyone can give. and i dont know if it matters or not, but i just got rid of 3 trojans, all binet. belt.exe, bi.dll, biprep.exe, biini.cab and so on and so on. had like 6 associated files for Downloader.Stubby.A and PSW.Bispy.A and B. here is my hijackthis log file.

I have gone out on a limb a little bit with these two:
I dont find any info on google on them-they just seem like the kind of random file creation stuff that spells trouble.
If you want to be conservative on these, instead of the file and folder deletions I suggest below, just rename the two exec files and see if there is system improvement.
You can then go back and delete them late if appropriate.
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [7s7k3sQ] C:\WINDOWS\System32\ifsedt32.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [free time] C:\PROGRA~1\LIESCH~1\For math trans.exe
Disable XP's system restore.
Run HijackTHis, tick to fix:
F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\System32\Userinit.exe
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {56941617-E64D-5C12-FFBE-FD7E30A80C28} - C:\PROGRA~1\MULTI4~1\cakeidle.dll
O3 - Toolbar: BytePingPhone - {CC4A90EA-9B28-D617-F4BB-70E1CD81712B} - C:\PROGRA~1\MULTI4~1\cakeidle.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [7s7k3sQ] C:\WINDOWS\System32\ifsedt32.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [free time] C:\PROGRA~1\LIESCH~1\For math trans.exe
O16 - DPF: {1DB3B8DD-5801-443F-B2D5-9BF8912B980E} (dmgrax2Ctrl Class) - http://www.lxsystems.com/downloads/Install.cab
O16 - DPF: {4E15D681-1D20-11D4-8B72-000021DA1956} - http://www.euroklik.nl/plugins_zonder_h...xnl124.exe
O16 - DPF: {FF0C042C-98E9-4C36-B2EC-E21FDFDCEF75} - http://download.redswoosh.net/Installer...taller.cab
Reboot to safe mode, delete:
C:\PROGRA~1\MULTI4~1 <---folder
C:\WINDOWS\System32\ifsedt32.exe <---- file
C:\PROGRA~1\LIESCH~1 <----folder
reboot and see how it goes. |
