a web site i visited, remains on the history no matter how many times i clear history or delete all cookies. i need some suggestions let me know

is the browser explorer?
try opening the run dialog and typing %temp%
when the window opens delete everything in there then delete history, see if that works

no that didnt work

i am using internet explorer

lets say the website is www.sample.com


in the address field on the browser i type in "s" or "w" after i have cleared the history, the drop down opens and says http://www.sample.com.

any other suggestions?

Oh I see your url history? I hope that correct
go to www.majorgeeks.com and download a program called crap cleaner you will love it. don't clena the system files as I have not yet tested that.

nope that didn't work, the website is still there. so far the only thing that gets rid of it is turning off the auto complete function on IE. but i want to get rid of it without losing that function.
