Here's a little tip for cleaning your favourite beer glass. Squirt one drop of washing up liquid into it. (Just one drop) Next turn your hot water tap on full blast. When the water's nearly boiling, shove your glass under it and leave it there until the water comes out clear.

Rinse glass with cold water and pour a beer. You'll get a head on it the same quality as you'd expect at your local. Better still, if you take care not to eat greasy food while drinking, your glass will stay good for several days.

All you have to do is rinse it in cold water after your evening's drinking. Me, I don't even do that, I just leave it till I get problems with flat beer, then give it the treatment again. No wuckin' furries!

Will keep that one for a party trick after pizza.

I always feel that a drinking utensil should have drinking material in it. We shouldn't waste good drinking time worrying about cleaning the glass. Its far easier to get a new one out and get the maid to wash up (using your suggestion, of course)

well at least you put in the barman/maid. I would have forgotten to mention that there are barmen and dirty beer glasses would have been thrown at me curtailing the need for washing altogether

Hey Blast, me little kiwi cork-puller, I'd forgive you for not knowing there were barMEN coz alll the Ozzie barmen have emigrated to good old Blighty.

Reminds me of one of my stints behind a bar in Brum when an Ozzie visitor asked me for a pint of the "local brew", so I gave him a pint of XXXX, Went down well with the residents but I never saw Bruce again for some reason. Question
