image PopUps: Pop-Ups Un-begone! image
Web Servers
I was browsing around a little today and noticed an article at BroadBandReports that led me to C|Net where Stefanie Olsen writes about statistics and experiences with free pop-up blockers. It does indeed miss some pop-ups, where as a few months ago it caught everything.

More of the root server operators are doing this routing technique, and the DNS is more robust than ever, says Paul Mockapetris, inventor of the DNS and chairman of DNS software vendor Nominum. The DNS is more resilient than it was a year ago by a factor of two.

Windows Server 2003 Taking Share from Linux
By James Maguire
Enterprise Windows IT
September 15, 2003

The dramatic increase in Server 2003 use is not surprising, says Gartner analyst Tom Bittman told NewsFactor. We absolutely expect it to grow rapidly. Because of its small installed based, even a modest amount of sales is a large percentage increase.
