Anonymous writes "I'm a member of Webring, which has decided to allow numerous pop up ads which most people can live with. However, one of it's advertisers, Xupiter.com automatically downloads it's software on your computer without consent, which attaches itself to the PCHealth Filies of your computer, which disables system restore as it will not delete protected files. Furthermore, you can't delete the files individually as the computer recognizes them as protected files. The Xupiter virus disables and overrides your search engine so that only thier products are displayed, such as Porn, On-Line Gambling, Viagra. No uninstaller is provided nor is there an e-mail address or help section on their site. All visitors to Webring will get the virus if on for more that 5 minutes as it auto downloads. This is worse than the klez Virus as there are no tools to fight it."
