from the author: I've just tried the newer version of zlib - no google problems so far. I'm using a newer compile of Proxomitron than the "Leak test" version, but I don't think it should matter. The zlib routines haven't changed that I know of.
As far as the zlib problem goes, I think the only result of exploiting the bug in Proxomitron would be to cause it to generate an exception warning and that's about it. Still, it's worth using the newer version just to be safe - just drop it in place of the older zlib.dll
