I have used Mailwasher for a couple years with no problems until now. I upgraded to Mailwasher 4.1 a few days ago. No other changes have been made to my system in that time.
I am using Windows XP, Outlook Express 6.0, Norton Antivirus 2002. I have a DSL connection. My Windows is up-to-date, as are my antivirus definitions, and I have checked for spyware and found none.
Since I upgraded MW I am having the following problem; I check my email with mailwasher, and see that I have several email messages from a client that have large jpg files attached. (It only seems to happen to messages with jpg files attached. It does not happen to every message with a jpg attached.) These folks are identified as "friend" in MW. I then open Outlook Express and the messages do not come into my Inbox. If I check mail with mailwasher again they are gone! If I go to my server- the messages are not there. If I look at the Mail Log in MW it shows NO in all three columns (they were not bounced, deleted or reported)--so they cannot be restored. This has happened with three different customers and is driving me crazy! It "seems like" MailWasher is deleting the emails (and then denying that it did it). This is causing me huge problems. Any ideas?

Turn on extended logging and the next time one goes missing exit mailwasher and take a look at the log. Switch is on Help - About menu as is a link to the files location.

The log will grow so if you don't have a problem at the end of the day shutdown mailwasher and delete the log.
