|
|
I copied photographs to quite a few CD R discs just before I lost my PC to some virus and have since bought a new one. I have spent ages looking in the manual on how to scan these disc, but just can't see anything which helps! (and I really don't know what to do )
I don't want to infect my new machine IF they are dodgy. I believe the discs can carry the virus, I just want to be sure, couldn't bear it to happen to me again.
HELP....please can someone tell me how with my NORTON INTERNET SECURITY.
thanks |

you don't scan the disc.....you tell nav to scan the drive that the disc is in......for example.....you cd drive is most likely d or e........put you cd in the drive open explore and see which drive letter has been assigned........
