I copied photographs to quite a few CD R discs just before I lost my PC to some virus and have since bought a new one. I have spent ages looking in the manual on how to scan these disc, but just can't see anything which helps! (and I really don't know what to do ) Embarassed

I don't want to infect my new machine IF they are dodgy. I believe the discs can carry the virus, I just want to be sure, couldn't bear it to happen to me again.

HELP....please can someone tell me how with my NORTON INTERNET SECURITY.

thanks

you don't scan the disc.....you tell nav to scan the drive that the disc is in......for example.....you cd drive is most likely d or e........put you cd in the drive open explore and see which drive letter has been assigned........
