how is it possible that the virus won't tell you which files are infected?come on..scan your comp again and watch more carefully..i'm sure you'll find out which files are infected. If you still can't find them then try the scan that Marianna told you about. It should remove the virus but if you still can't remove it then just watch while its scanning to find out which files are infected.
After you find which files are infected:
Browsw to the folder(s) where the files are located (here i'm assuming that there are only a few (4,5 or less) viruses.Right click on the infected files, click on properties and uncheck the entry that says "Archive".Then re-scan your computer.Tell me if it works.
Just to share with you..yesterday i was tryin to remove this spyware sort of thing from my computer but it won't get deleted...i checked the folder and some files were marked as archive and they were causin the problem..i un-archived them and bingo..it worked!!I hope it works for u too

I have the same problem. Antivir tells me too that I have the TR/Small.DG virus.
It's in loader[1].cab ... installer.inf in C:\Documents and Settings\Ägare\..\Y3G3TIBE.
As seen above, Antivir doesn't give the full path name not even in the log file. I have also tried seaching for loader[1].cab and Y3G3TIBE, also among hidden files and directories, but the files and directories are not found. This is driving me crazy. What should I do? |

I just tried the HouseCall online search engine (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp) to get more information but it didn't find any virus.
I think it is very strange that when I do a search in Windows, it doesn't find the directory or file where Antivir says there is a virus even if I search in hidden files and system files. |

I finally found the path in the log file. It is the following:
C:\Documents and Settings\Ägare\Lokala inställningar\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\Y3G3TIBE
loader[1].cab
ArchiveType: CAB (Microsoft)
--> loader.exe
[DETECTION] The Trojan horse TR/Small.DG
The problem is that the Content.IE5 folder does not exist. It doesn't even help to show all hidden files and all system files. I don't understand how Antivir XP can find this directory. I have to be able to find the file in order to remove it |

I removed this thing in the following way:
In IE I went to Tools-> Internet Options -> then Delete Files -> Check the 'Delete all offline content box'. That should do it.
Run your antivirus programme to check, it should be gone.
The offending file is probably not a virus, but adware or similar.
