Too bad, but at least, you have a clean computer.
See if you can use these in ME:
DCOMbobulator: http://grc.com/default.htm
----------------------------------------------------------------

Spywareblaster: http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

Spywareguard: http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard.html
Update both at least, once in a week.
----------------------------------------------------------------

http://www.spysweeper.com/download.html
Install, update and run, fix all what it finds

Spybot: http://beam.to/spybotsd
Install, update, immunize and run. Fix all, marked with red
