Hi, I read the other post about ccleaner. i got it, and it seems good.... but what is the Registry Integrity and File Integrity? On the tabs under applications, I deselected everything except msn messenger. I'm not sure what to do with the system part, and what is the advanced cache clean? sorry about all the questions, but I just want to make sure it's a good product.

hey is it just me, or is it that every time you do anything, from cliicking on a folder to opening a web page, ur start menu, anything, and you go back to ccleaner, it will pick up like a hundred things that will just delete that I don't even know what they are.

Are you rebooting after running CrapCleaner? Most reg. changes etc. need a reboot to take effect. Try running what ever scan it is you ran and then reboot the computer.

if you used the crapcleaner and the pc is acting up,it's not from ccleaner.
i got my ass chewed out for answering a first responder post to some one yesterday and i don't want to act like a first responder here.
but you have otther issues and you better post a gripe on the site to isolate and fix the issue.
before you can't even get back onthe internet cause some thing has hijacked your browser.
and if you look at this thing,what's really unconscionable is the fact that someone took exception and then there was afury of discusionand they took it out on the poster, they looked at the post 51 times and not one of the elite first responders helped the poster.

it was moved from another spot to the hijackthis forum.
and when i told him that it was not a good idea to have his hijackthis on his desktop and that as i put it:i like to have it in mydrive"c" in program files and extract it from the zip file to its own folder so that it would work properly then i stepped on someones tender toes and they took it out on the poster and did not attempt to help.
some times confrontation is effective.
there has been a denial of service attack on our website and there have not been very many people to look at hijack logs.
if i felt that i could be of service to start a person that was posting in the right direction then i would, but the, if you will excuse the term, ELITE ,
think that they have it all under control:
they don't.
look at how this posters request went deliberately un-heeded.
now, parputt,
i won't be going to bootcamp, 'cause that's not for me.
and to properly inform those that think i'm here to tell them what to do and when to do it, you're assumption is incorrect.
i'm contributing here that's all.
i like this site.
if i had deep enough pockets i would end the funding problems here immediately.
then we could focus on who is the real initiator of the ddos and do something about it.
too bad this poster has to suffer because of some protocol problems.

that's not what i have in mind, please don't trouble yourselves with pointing me in that direction.

Hi, this is blubby. For a while now, my computer has been slowing down. Programs like Ad-aware, spybot, and antivirus run reeaaallly slowly. My cpu usage is often at 100%, and most internet sites I go to freeze. Browsers will freeze like 50 % of the time. I do'nt know what to do! pleae help.
