|
|
Hello everyone!
I have just installed Win XP Pro on my PC (after Win98SE) and installed Norton AntiVirus 2003 (which I was using before) but it is impossible to download updates for Virus Definitions. When I start LiveUpdate, it tries to download about 4100MB but always fails. I spent a few hours trying to download them, but failed. I even tried to reinstall NAV but the problem remained.
What could be the problem and what could I do? |

Go here and download them manually:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/av...S-N95.html
that will get around the problem of LiveUpdate. Then we can focus on fixing LiveUpdate. |

I tried this a couple of times but the transfer rate is, believe it or not, less than 1KB/sec. I suppose such a slow download rate causes LiveUpdate to abort downloads. |
