A couple of points. First, the trojans could have gotten on your machine via an unprotected entrance. Many arrive via an executable in email, filesharing, or even downloads from the internet you think are safe. The second point is that Norton is generally an antivirus program and as such does not find all trojans. For that, a antitrojan program is best. And sometimes the most annoying of theses critters can be downloaded from malicious websites without your permission or knwledge.

Norton is actually good at what it does but you often made need help in other areas. Anyway, that is my view.

Hi Jw,

Trojan Hunter is one of the best protection you could get so give it a try
and I am sure you won't regret it.

May I also suggest you to use(if you don't yet) Spywareblaster and SpywareGuard two free and very effective prevention tools(available at our download section like Trojan hunter.

Have a great week end Smile
