Hi, I just uninstalled Norton AntiVirus 2001, and now everytime I open Internet Explorer (any site), or a folder on my pc (like Disk C) I get this error message (it's very annoying, and locks my PC sometimes):
Cannot load library for Language 'JScript'
Path 'C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\SYMANTEC SHARED\SCRIPT BLOCKING\SCRAUTH.DLL'
Please contact kaspersky Lab. for the solution.
BTW, I also installed Kaspersky AV, after I delited Norton.

I know that this message has something to do with the Symantec Live update or Norton AV, they probobly didn't uninstalled right, and left some errors in the regestry.

Any help is welcome.

P.S. sorry if I posted this in a wrong forum.

Ok, I've got this off kaspersky-labs site:
~~~
This situation arise due to the incorrect Symantec Anti-virus uninstallation.
What we can recommend you to do:
1. Load regestry editor (regedit) and find key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\JavaScript\CLSID
Remember its value, for example: {f414c260-6ac0-11cf-b6d1-00aa00bbbb58}
2. Find this value (ID) in system registry, for example:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{f414c260-6ac0-11cf-b6d1-00aa00bbbb58}\inprocServer32
3. Set [default] variable to value of KAV Script Checker path, e.g:
[default] => C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Pro\avpscrch.dll
4. Remove [OriginalDll] value, for example: Ñ:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\SYMANTEC SHARED\SCRIPT BLOCKING\SCRAUTH.DLL
And set value to the path to original system jscript.dll, e.g.
[OriginalDll] => C:\WINDOWS\System32\jscript.dll
This is the manual work. If it seems too hard for you, please contact Symantec support service.
~~~
Now, can someone tell me how to do this the easy way ?
'cause I don't really get it Confused

Thanks, I found out how to fix this on my own though.
The OriginalDll should be C:\WINDOWS\System\jscript.dll, not System32\jscript.dll.
