An old Scot on his death bed called his best friend, Jock,
to his side "I bin saving a bottle of whisky and when I'm
gone I want you to sprinkle it on me grave. Will ye do that, Jock?
Och aye, but would ye mind if I pass it triough my kidneys first???

I have been bought a bottle of The Balvenie 15 yr old single barrel hand bottled, cask no 3390 bottle no 79. cask date 1988.
My dilema is, should I drink it or save it?

My mother would turn in her grave, except that she's not dead but is taking a wee sip of the Balvenie as we speak. No one ever took 15 years making love to a whisky so that someone could leave it on the shelf. It's there for the enjoyment, so enjoy icon_smile.gif

icon_smile.gif I'll pass on your regards. She does take her whisky drinking very seriously. And she'll put a curse on you if you add ice let alone water).

One tiny ice cube will enhance the flavor and aroma when taken before or during dinner . As an after dinner nightcap straight is great ; before breakfast , you need to see a doctor !

Yes not bad especially the best quality one but you have a rival now,
WALES has now got it's first batch done after 100 years.
I have one of the first bottles, they sold out 1st couple of days, you now have to wait until the end of April.

Hey man, you're like a Rabbit, poppin up everywhere icon_lol.gif
